| My name is Josh Spaulding. I'm 9 years old. On June 30, 2006, I started my first season of racing in the Pee Wee class at Cottage Grove after missing the first few races. I surprised everyone by sweeping all 3 races of the night! I got 2nd in points for the year. Then I switched karts and started driving the Bare chassis in the Pee Wee class at River Arena in Roseburg. That place will teach ya how to drive! I ended the season in 6th place, but sure did improve my driving skills. I like that kart. I'm doing better every race. In fact, so much better, that I won the 2007 Pee Wee Championship at Cottage Grove! I finished in 2nd place in the 5hp Intermediate class for the 2007/2008 winter season in Salem, and in 3rd place for the 2008 summer series in Cottage Grove. After missing a couple of Salem winter races, I ended the 2008/2009 season in 5th place. I did a good job in the 2009 5hp Intermediate class in Cottage Grove, earning 3rd place. Now, to get ready for the 2009/2010 winter Salem series! |
